Payment Methods
The following payment methods are accepted:
- International Credit Cards
- UK Credit & Debit Cards
- Cheques
- International Money Orders
Credit Cards
International Orders: Paypal is our processor for all international credit card orders. Please select Paypal Payment at the Checkout.
UK Orders: You may select Paypal or Nochex to pay for your order with any UK credit or debit card. Paypal currently requires you to be a member although the sign up process just requires you to choose a username. Nochex does not require membership for transactions up to £300.
Debit Cards
If you wish to pay using a UK debit card you need to select Nochex as your payment option in the checkout. Selecting Nochex as your payment option in the shopping cart will enable you to pay by UK debit card for items up to £300.
Cheques
To pay by cheque, use the shopping cart as normal, and select Cheque as your payment method. You will be directed to a page which lists your order number and information regarding payment by cheque. For security reasons obviously we cannot ship products until cheques have cleared, so cheque orders will take an additional 5 working days to process following receipt of your cheque.
International Money Orders
Select 'Money Order' at the checkout, and follow instructions there. Only International Money Orders in Pounds Sterling will be accepted. Upon receipt of the money order you will receive an email notifiying you regarding shipment of your order and estimated time of arrival.
Shipping Charges
Shipping cost is determined by destination and by the weight and bulk of your order.
Shipping within the UK is by a choice of 3 bands, Economy, Standard or Express. Shipping to Europe and Worldwide is by Airsure or International Signed for Airmail. Airsure is a trackable priority handling Royal Mail service that requires a signature upon delivery service to ensure safe and speedy delivery. Airsure service will be used for deliveries to:
Andorra, Austria, Azores, Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, Corsica, Denmark, Faroe Islands, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Madeira, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Slovak Republic, Spain, Spitzbergen, Sweden, Switzerland and USA. Deliveries to other countries will use Airmail International Signed for.
Shipping costs are calculated in the shopping cart when you add products to the cart and then select your destination.
We reserve the right to change shipping fees at any time. These changes will be reflected by the charges made for shipping within the shopping cart.
Shipping Times
For credit and debit card transactions, your order will usually be shipped out next day if it is in stock. Estimated delivery times following receipt of your order are as follows:
- UK Economy - 3 to 10 days
- UK Standard - 2 to 7 days
- UK Express - 1 to 3 days
- Europe - 5 to 10 days
- Rest of the World - 5 to 14 days
If there is likely to be a significant delay in your order due to stock levels, we will do our utmost to inform you of this in advance. In most cases there will only be a 1-2 day delay for out of stock items. Please allow 7 days before contacting us regarding your order, and we do not guarantee delivery before 14 days due to the vagaries of the postal service. The vast majority of orders are shipped out within 2 days of receiving your order.
Cheques & Money Orders
Cheque and Money Order transactions will not be shipped until funds have been received and cleared. For cheques expect a delay of 5 days after we receive your cheque before your order is shipped. Money Order transactions will be shipped upon receipt.
Problems Ordering
If your order does not arrive
Just email us quoting your order number and we will track the progress of the order.
European and Worldwide orders are via Airmail. Allow 7-14 days before contacting us.
Credit Card Rejection
There is a high level of security in use by the credit card processor, and sometimes orders will be rejected if you enter details incorrectly. Once you reach the credit card detail entry page you must enter your exact billing name and address details as stated on your credit card statements. Failure to do so may well lead to card rejection. We hope you understand that this is for your benefit to protect against the use of stolen cards and misuse of cards.
Telephone Ordering
If you prefer we are more than happy to accept orders from within the UK by phone. Call 0845 8901215 to place your order. We will require your credit/debit card number, security code, expiry date, issue number (for debit cards) and card billing address. And your delivery address of course!
